Binkw32.dll errors are caused by issues that the particular game you're trying to install or play is having with the Bink Video codec created by RAD Game Tools, Inc. Most of the time, the 'procedure entry point' errors involving binkw32.dll are due to running 'cracked' versions of games. Has anyone else come across this error when trying to run a game? I've tried searching online to find a solution, but I haven't been able to come across anything that.

I've updated all my drivers (sound, video, bios, etc...). I've tried downloading a binkw32.dll file and following the directions on where to install the file on my computer. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times...but I cannot fix the error.
After I downloaded the binkw32.dll file and followed directions, I got a new error. I now get an error that goes something like this:
cannot find point_BinkCopyToBufferRect@44
I cannot figure out what to do. I'm not running an illegal copy of a game. I just purchased it, it game in the mail a few days ago and it's brand new, unopened (that is until I opened it and tried installing).
The game is Demon Stone, if anyone cares or needs to know....

I suppose it's not a big loss to me if I can't get the game running, because I picked it up for like $6 or $7. But I would like to play. I've never come across any error like this before on any PC game I've installed over the past 8-9 years I've been a PC gamer.
